Trust Monitor Policy
Participating in a Global Learning Project can be fun, but we still need to make sure that we are good digital citizens!
Participating in a Global Learning Project can be fun, but we still need to make sure that we are good digital citizens!
1. Get to know your school district's Internet Use Policy and abide by it! Most online problems can be avoided by just following that.
2. Do not reveal any personal information about yourself other than your first name or a screen name, and your city. And please, no photos of yourself or your fellow students! There are bad people out there that want to hurt kids. 3. Please be respectful in your forum postings. We are looking to build friendships, not start wars! 4. Please keep forum and blog postings relevant to the topic and do not leave any personal posts. This is not a dating website. |
5. No inappropriate pictures or language will be tolerated. You will be removed from the site and from the project.
6. If you follow a link away from this website, I am not responsible for anything you find on those websites. 7. Make sure that whatever you post is your work, and is not something that is plagiarized from the Internet or from some other source. Please regard copyright law and remember to credit your sources. 8. Teachers please carefully monitor all forum posts and make sure they are appropriate and pertinent. Failure to follow these basic rules will result in dismissal from the project. |
